I had two troubles with this unit.
1) The manufacturer's packaging is inadequate for shipping (not Amazon's fault). I received two units (the second a replacement for the 1st), both had been damaged in transit, and each have been returned. The very first, the glass door was shattered, I suspect mainly because the shelves had been not nicely anchored inside (ironically, the manufacturer's handbook warns against shipping with loose shelves - they should take their personal assistance). The second had a significant dent in the door frame - the package is just not sturdy adequate to offer you sufficient protection.
two) So, if you are lucky adequate to get an undamaged a single, is it a decent item? I tried out the second one I received - might have lived with the dent if I'd been satisfied. I found that even though it undoubtedly chills adequately, the fan runs continuously and generates even more noise than I would care to live with.
I ultimately wound up shopping for an equivalent Kenwood unit, which is proving to be wonderful - and quiet!

Have applied the item ahead of liked it and ordered a different. Came in looking like a forklift had hit it. Had to spend the return shipping, and a month later I nonetheless have no item. Had I known this I would have paid a few additional bucks and purchased neighborhood. I will submit an additional critique/retraction if/when this is ever resolved.
