Buyer Evaluations

I want to hug this factor just about every morning! But I will not- that way lies madness. Besides, I do not think DH would like it. Why am I so happy? Due to the fact..I had a 25 year old, noisy Sub Zero for which I could no longer obtain components. It had to go. Sadly, we had remodeled the kitchen about it. So I thought I was stuck with one more Sub Zero. Why do I say "stuck"? Are not Sub Zeros the pretty preferred? Properly, contact me a rube , but to me it was essentially a shinier, shallower, taller, louder version of my low-priced Sears fridge in the basement. Not to mention that a new Sub Zero costs more than $8000, for Pete's sake!
What to do? Enter the KitchenAid counter depth French door fridge. Terrific. For about $6000 much less I have a fridge that takes up much less space but has a lot more room inside.(It's magic!) The counter depth fits perfectly in the space where the Sub Zero loomed. The KitchenAid is pretty and quiet and nicely organized on the inside. Now I have a new, quiet, (did I mention quiet?) fridge with significantly more room inside. It has an interior filtered water dispenser, an outstanding deli drawer,(wide and shallow so you can see every thing) see -thru veggie bins, and even a neat little scoop in the ice bin. The doors open and close independently of 1 another. I also like having two smaller doors rather of 1 heavy door. The water filter is inside effortless reach in the leading of the fridge.
The freezer is also nicely organized. The ice bin can be rolled out of the way to make use of the space beneath. The freezer also has bins which may , for example, preserve melted Popsicle goo from leaking all more than the freezer and the floor and the ceiling beneath. Just in case.
AND my cabinet maker is going to put a new shelf in the space that opened up over the KitchenAid. (The Sub Zero was 12" inches taller). I lastly have a place to retailer those enormous trays my mother gave me for Christmas. Way more fridge taking up less space for much less money- what is not to like?

We previously had an LG stainless steel French Door refrigerator, and it was fine, but we had to leave it behind when we moved. When shopping for the appropriate refrigerator for the new house, I did a ton of analysis and decided on this a single for two causes: 1) all of the built-in appliances in the new house are Kitchenaid, and 2) this model is not only counter-depth, but it is 72" tall. We had been thrilled when it arrived as it fits beautifully into the space and it matches the rest of the kitchen.
But when we began truly applying it, I realized how pretty glad I am that we left that LG model behind! The drawers, both in the refrigerator and freezer, glide smoothly, and I enjoy that the door shelves are lined. The deli drawer is fantastic, simply because we can lay almost everything out in a single layer and see everything quickly. We also enjoy the water dispenser inside (the exterior keeps a very clean and simple look, as a outcome) and that it can be utilized to fill pitchers. Clear-faced vegetable drawers: my sister and I had been creating dinner, and she saw me open the vegetable drawer to look inside. She asked, "why did you open the drawer to see what's in it?" I chuckled to myself. Old habits die hard! But yes, you can see what's in the drawers without getting to open them - I will just have to get implemented to the awesomeness.
The interior is also significantly roomier than I expected! Granted, we do have a 2nd refrigerator in our utility area, but it is currently empty - we'll quite possibly use the 2nd 1 for overflow throughout the holidays. This a single is adequate in size for our every single day requirements.
As for keeping the stainless steel lovely, based on other reviews, I bought the Weiman wipes, and they definitely do the trick on ALL of our Kitchenaid stainless appliances (they are terrific!)
We made quite a few massive appliance purchases for the new house, and, by far, this refrigerator has been my favorite.
