Bought a Whirlpool Gold counter-depth fridge and not extended soon after, noticed a crack in the liner. The fridge also leaks, periodically flooding the floor. Even with a supposed 5-year warranty, Whirlpool refuses to replace the fridge. Their U.S. head of customer service, Deborah, is both disinterested in clients, and apparently is nicely aware of this trouble (BEWARE - THIS Issue EXISTS WITH ALL THEIR FRIDGES). She flat out told us she didn't care to do this, even though Whirlpool has had countless complaints about this long-standing issue. Nor will she pass on the knowledge to manufacturing or an individual who can do one thing about the item. The preferred they will do is send out a service-individual to put a sealant on the crack which will out-gas into your food and will not prevent moisture from acquiring into the insulation.
