we had been pretty excited to find such nicely configured refrigerator/freezer at this value. although we were skeptical about the name and our common knowldege that chinese manufacturing standards and engineering is nonetheless in the low end of the excellence curve, we gave it a attempt.
initial the model showed up with no screws to attach the handles to the doors. this took a number of phone calls to each amazon and haier to try to resolve. we finally got the screws soon after about ten phone calls and three weeks. two days ago we went to attach the handles and discoverd they sent with the item with 3 bottom door handles (where you only need two) and one leading deal with (exactly where you want two). we called about this and figured we could deal with waiting for one deal with. we then let the unit run for two days and it never got the refrigerator beneath 55 degrees farenhiet or the the freezer. we are sending this clearly defective item back and do not feel we will acccept a replacement.
From a local department store I purchased a black in this, the bottom 2 drawers refuse to open (never ever plugged in, just out of the box)
Is there a security lock that I dont know about?
There are also some cream colored rubber flaps beneath, are they the cause the drawers wont open?
