I had a Kitchen Aid countertop wine cooler which lasted less than a single year. Following researching all of the top rated promoting 8+ bottle countertop versions, I purchased the Vinotemp from Costco. It lasted 18 months and stopped chilling. Due to the fact I frequently cleaned the fan and vent I contacted Vinotemp. As the earlier review states, they suggested purchasing a new manage board. I spent $45 for the board such as shipping and installed only to have the complete unit fail to reach any temperature beneath 79 degrees. It is my understanding that countertop coolers generally last 12-24 months due to the built-in obsolescence of the cooling units. I would not buy this size once again and recommend investing in the built-in.

Received this wine cooler as a wedding gift - within 2 years had identical issues as others report - and when contacted the enterprise all they stated was "you will need to order a replacement control board" and "we cannot guarantee this will solve the problem" which with shipping expenses $45. I could buy a improved, additional dependable unit for just over $100 and seems silly to replace a manage board that is probably to once again break. I do not advise this product.
